At our company, we prioritize quality and safety and we have extensive range of certifications and test reports for our magnesium oxide boards. Here, we provide an overview of the certifications we’ve obtained and the comprehensive test reports available for our products.
I. Certifications
Over the years, we have secured various certifications, including CE, ISO, and INTERTEK, to name a few. However, maintaining these certifications for all global markets has proven challenging due to the high costs, varying requirements, and short validity periods. This has led to substantial annual expenses, making it difficult for us to sustain normal operations.
Upon customer recommendation, we have shifted our approach. Instead of pursuing certifications ourselves, we now offer free samples for customers to conduct their own testing and certification. This method ensures that the certification aligns perfectly with the specific requirements of their respective markets.
II. Fire Safety Test Reports
We have two primary categories of fire safety test reports: standard boards and fire door core foam boards.
1. Standard Boards
- Fire Rating: This report follows the Chinese standard GB 8624, equivalent to EN 13501-1, and showcases the highest fire rating of A1.
- Fire Duration: Conducted per the Chinese standard GB/T 9978.1-2008, equivalent to ISO 834-1-1999, this report confirms a fire resistance duration of 90 minutes.
Both reports feature the ILAC-MRA certification logo. ILAC-MRA (International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation-Mutual Recognition Arrangement) signifies that the test results are internationally recognized across 46 economies and 56 laboratory accreditation bodies. More details can be found on the ILAC website at ilac.org.
2. Fire Door Core Foam Boards
These reports are based on the Australian standards AS 1530.1.1994 and ASNZS 1530.3.1999. According to the test results, the submitted sample is classified as non-combustible materials.
III. Safety Test Reports
Ensuring the safety of our products extends beyond fire resistance. We provide the following safety test reports:
- Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS): Detailing the properties, handling, and potential hazards of our boards.
- Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) Report: Confirming the absence of volatile organic compounds in our products.
- Asbestos Report: Verifying that no asbestos is present in our boards.
- Chloride Report: Indicating negligible chloride levels, which are only trace amounts found in water.
- Formaldehyde and Radioactivity Report: Showing that formaldehyde emissions and radioactivity levels are within safe standards.
IV. Conclusion
Our commitment to quality and safety is unwavering. By offering comprehensive testing and allowing our customers to obtain localized certifications, we ensure that our magnesium oxide boards meet the highest standards across various global markets.
